Angela Maria Sierra is known as Riso Chan. She is an artist and creative teacher based in Amsterdam. She grew up in an artistic environment; her mother being a sculptor, inspired her to explore her own creativity from an early age. 

Riso Chan believes that portraits can be a very powerful way to express emotions and human beauty. It is a language on its own, whithout need for words to communicate. As a result most of her work revolves around human portraits, for which she works with a mix of watercolor and procreate, which allows her to work digitally while keeping a traditional handmade feel on the artwork.
