Rosa de Jong is a freelance creative and art maker from Amsterdam, developing projects driven by idea and thoughts. The execution of these projects usually involves a lot of making and working with hands, since that’s what makes Rosa truly happy. “Since everybody is naturally drawn to stories and people that are different, the goal is to tell a real story and set it apart from the crowd, by making every piece of communication authentic and personal.” As a result of this strategy she is currently creating miniature worlds, suspended in wooden frames, or assembled in test tubes. Some of these miniature dwellings climb the rocky terrains. Minuscule trees float on extra-terrestrial lanscapes. Inaccessible houses fly with rugged meteorites. And all these imaginary worlds can be seen in Micro-Matter.com
